Your sense of smell is closely linked to memory. Your particular olfactory function may be able to evoke certain memories and conjure up recollections of childhood past times. Once you’re happy with the scented oil remedy that you’ve chosen, be sure that it works for you. Fragrance is tied to memory and everyone’s nose is different. Your research is a good base to start with but the key is experimenting with different oils that suit you. Perfumes and oils are very similar and categorised into citrus, herbal, spicy and woody aroma. Oils of the same type generally blend extremely well together.

If you’re new to the natural world of oil spray, it’s best to purchase an Oil Starter Kit. As your confidence begins to grow, you’ll begin to experiment with many different scents. As you combine different oils with water, start with a 1:1 ratio and make adjustments to the ratio if necessary. Adding additional oils should be complimentary with lesser ratios, but this depends on your sense of smell and the therapeutic properties you’re searching for.
